Training
We strongly consider our ongoing manager and maintenance training programs as a reliable means of assuring that its assigned property personnel are providing quality services at each of our managed properties. It is our strong belief that the people who staff the site daily are critical to the ongoing success of any property, both as an asset and as a viable housing community. Their continuing training and professional development, therefore, is a major component of any asset’s quality control system.
A series of marketing/effective leasing training sessions has recently been designed and conducted for all of our Rental and Lease Agents in order to provide them with enhanced skills pertaining to greeting, property presentation, and effective closing techniques.
We are a firm believer in the value of continuous training which is provided to increase maintenance skill levels and minimize repair costs. Maintenance Training programs for the benefit of property maintenance superintendents and their assistants are conducted semi-annually. These training sessions are conducted by our Technical Services Division and have included preventative maintenance programs, the achievement of efficiency in apartment turnover procedures, energy conservation, coordination of bids with contractors and vendors, evaluation of roof systems and repair needs, appliance repair, reviewing for security system deficiencies, safe handling and labeling of chemicals, maintenance team building, long term repair needs of managed properties, and the assessment of incipient problems which, if uncorrected, can lead to increasingly expensive repairs. |
