Risk Management
We take a preventative approach as part of a continuing effort to minimize those opportunities where the ownership could be exposed to claims and legal action based upon negligence.
General Liability
We undertake a comprehensive Safety and Security Survey including the interior and exterior of the property to determine any opportunities for hazards that could cause resident injury or present security vulnerabilities. Once identified, we inform the owner of the specific nature of any deficiency outlining a recommended corrective course of action which we are prepared to implement.
Should any liability-related incidents occur, all site managers are trained to follow procedures to insure that all facts are accurately gathered and reported to the property’s liability insurance carrier, and that any necessary corrective actions are taken promptly.
With this system in place, the property’s liability insurance carrier is placed in an enhanced position to represent and defend, if necessary, the interests of the owner. We are always prepared to work closely with the attorneys assigned by the insurance carrier in this effort.
