ERIC R. VOGT

Regional Senior Manager, CPM

Mr. Vogt is a graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing.  He has worked for MB Management for over 15 years and is responsible for the daily operation of seven properties comprising 1,180 units of both subsidized and market rate properties located in the Upstate New York State area including Buffalo, Syracuse, Utica and Fulton.  He has successfully obtained grants for over $1.75 million for energy conservation, drug elimination and safe neighborhoods.

Mr. Vogt is a Certified Property Manager, member of IREM Chapter 58 in Rochester, New York as well as a member of the New York State Association of Renewal and Housing Offices, Inc. 

 

ROBERTA WILMORE

Housing Services Coordinator, Regional Senior Manager

Ms. Wilmore attended Hampton Institute and Northeastern University. While serving with MB Management for the past twenty years, she has performed a broad range of responsibilities including Rental/Leasing Consultant, Site Manager, and Senior Property Manager. In her current capacity, she is responsible for the overall supervision and management of 269 subsidized apartments located in two states providing residential opportunities for elderly and family households. She has been able to substantially improve occupancy in those properties through the coordination of aggressive outreach and marketing efforts.

 

In her additional capacity as Housing Services Coordinator for the company, Ms. Wilmore is also responsible for ensuring that MB Management maintains its strong record of compliance with all Fair Housing laws. Civil Rights Acts, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. She assists in the development of the company's overall employee training program, conducts training programs for all site personnel in the areas of affirmative fair marketing, employment practices, AIDS in housing, drug and alcohol issues, and physical and handicapped issues. In the latter respect, she serves as the Company's 504 Coordinator providing effective direction and support to sites in the determination of reasonable accommodation issues.  She provides direct support to the Company's CEO, Senior Managers, and Site Managers in the review of significant personnel and resident issues, coordinating any required legal consultation and advisory services. She is responsible for the coordination of the company's Resident Services Coordinator group, which she established providing a continuing opportunity for the discussion of resident services, problems and approaches experienced at many property sites enabling service coordinators to provide effective and responsive service for elderly residents as a result. 

 

CAROLE A. FETELA

Regional Senior Manager

Ms. Fetela is responsible for the supervision of seven properties which are assisted through the US Department of Agriculture, Division of Rural Development (formerly Farmers Home Administration.)  

She was previously employed by the USDA Rural Development for over 24 years where she had most recently served as Rural Development Specialist.  In this capacity, she was responsible for providing and assuring the development of loans in single family, multi-family, community programs, businesses/industrial programs, and water and waste programs.  She was also responsible for working with property management agents in reviewing financial situations, approving reserve requests, and reviewing and approving management documents, plans, and agreements.

   

SHARON BIDSTRUP

Regional Senior Manager, CPM

Ms. Bidstrup has been involved in real estate and real estate management for over 15 years.  She has been a Certified Property Manager since 1987. She also holds a real estate license in Connecticut and is a Certified Assisted Housing Manager.  She has been successful in receiving grants in excess of $200,000 for drug elimination efforts.  Ms. Bidstup’s background includes managing various portfolios, including co-operative and conventional, state and government assisted family and elderly housing.  She is currently responsible for the supervision of 527 units located at five family, elderly and market rate properties.  She has developed extensive resident programs with education and basic skills for children and adults in assisted housing.  She is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, Chapter 81.

PAM HUNT

Regional Senior Manager

Ms. Hunt has been involved in residential property management for over twenty years.  Prior to joining MB Management Company, she was responsible for providing crisis management services for difficult properties.  For the next eleven years while with MB Management, she was responsible for the successful on-site management of Pine Oaks Village consisting of two elderly residential communities where she developed an extensive resident services program and conducted a continuing property improvement effort.  She was instrumental in establishing these properties as both beautiful and attractive as evidenced by their prolonged residence duration and extensive waiting list.  These properties were named by the New England Affordable Housing Management Association as the Community of Quality Exemplary Elderly Properties in 2001.  Ms. Hunt was named as the National Elderly Site Manager of the Year in 1999 by the US Department of Agriculture and New England Regional Manager of the Year in 1998 and 2000.  She has chaired the company’s Resident Services Committee.

VERNE CLOW

Regional Senior Manager, Technical Services Specialist

 Mr. Clow is a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology and obtained a degree in Contracting and Construction from Syracuse University.  Prior to his employment with MB Management Company in 1981, Mr. Clow worked in the heavy construction industry and served as construction representative for various owners in large multi-million dollar hospital and publicly funded projects.

Since 1981, Mr. Clow has effectively represented MB Management Company in support of over 40 million dollars of new construction and major capital improvement projects ensuring successful performance of goals while meeting the practical requirements for minimum interruption of resident services and maximizing resident satisfaction and retention.  He is responsible for a full range of construction management services including problem and need assessment, coordination and supervision of consulting engineering services, preparation of detailed improvement plans and specifications, preparation of construction bidding documents, bid review and analysis, construction document preparation for owner review and approval, construction period monitoring including conducting all job meetings and review and approval of contractor progress and final billings.

Mr. Clow’s construction management services have ranged from the provision of clerk of the works responsibilities to full construction management in support of major capital building improvement including a $5.5 million dollar heating/retrofit/energy improvement/fire alarm system installation project to major roofing, parking garage, and masonry improvement projects. Mr. Clow’s strong background in heating and electrical systems including efficiency enhancement and conversion projects has enabled MB to implement a number of significant cost effective conservation projects resulting in substantial savings for owners at several of its managed properties. 

 

 

KARLA BODDEN

Senior Property Manager

 

Ms. Bodden completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at Boston University where she obtained a Bachelors Degree in Urban Affairs and a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice.  Working in the housing industry since 1991, Ms. Bodden has acquired experience working with federally/state assisted, tax credit, elderly and family developments.  In her relentless pursuit to provide the best services to the residents and owners alike, Ms. Bodden has pursued and obtained various industry-specific certifications such as Certified Credit Compliance Professional, Certified Occupancy Specialist, Certified Housing Manager, Certified Financial Manager and Certified Maintenance Manager.  She is also a licensed realtor in the State of Massachusetts, a Notary Public and reads, writes and speaks fluent Spanish.

 

 

JANET M. SMITH

Senior Property Manager

 

Ms. Smith completed her graduate work at the University of New Hampshire and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.  She is currently responsible for the oversight of MB’s New Hampshire and Maine portfolios.  She has a thorough knowledge of affordable housing including the low income tax credit programs, Section 8 housing assistance, and the HOME program.  She has also successfully completed affordable housing trainings with Spectrum, Elizabeth Moreland, and other distinguished training firms.

 

Prior to joining MB, Ms. Smith held property management positions with the Dover Housing Authority and Housing Management Resources.  She also served as a member of the Board of Selectman and Director of Welfare for the Town of Newfields, New Hampshire.
